Xiaorong grew up in Taiyuan Shanxi; she studied and worked at Zhejiang University with a master degree in mechanical engineering. She now lives in a lovely small town in central Maine with her husband and daughter.<\/p>\n

Gerry is a native of Bangor, Maine USA. He is a 1970 graduate of the University of Maine with a degree in special education. For many years he owned and managed his own career counseling business, providing individual job coaching and corporate outplacement services for some of Maine’s largest corporations. Gerry was elected five times to the Bangor City Council, and has served as Mayor of his hometown. Governor Angus King appointed him Treasurer of Penobscot County.<\/p>\n
Gerry is the former Chair of the Chinese Language & Culture Center of Maine and currently serves as the President of the Maine China Network. As Mayor of Bangor he forged a formal sister city relationship with Harbin, China and traveled to Harbin, where he met with the political leaders of the Nangang District. Gerry was an instrumental leader in the creation of the Maine China Network in 2011.<\/p>\n
Gerry, a widower with four adopted adult children, three granddaughters, and one great-grandson, resides in East Bangor with his two dogs and two cats.<\/p>\n
