Once again, we will hold our Mid-Autumn Festival at Bangor Public Library on Oct. 11th, from 10am to 2PM. We will have our favorite mooncake making, storytelling, performances, origami, activities for children, mahjong playing, and tea tasting for adults. Limited lunch and home made mooncakes will be for sale as well. All are welcome!
Come Join us once again for the Mid-Autumn Festival! Learn how to make Mooncakes, the stories about the Festival, and watch performances. Activities for Children, and adults! Lunch will be for sale, as well as limited quantity of home made mooncakes.
Our 6th Mid-Autumn Festival will be on Saturday Sept. 7th at Bangor Public Library. Opening at 10am with dragon dance/lion dance; then we will have favorite activities from the past: Mooncake making/tasting, tea tasting, try your hands with calligraphy, paper crafts, and fun photo booth. This year, we are also adding a mahjong table & a card table, so parents can gather and chat over the games, while kids enjoy the crafts. We will also expand performance section: Gongfu kids, dances, singing, Taiji demonstration, and ending with a fashion show. We will have door prize drawings throughout the day, so be sure to sign in and get your tickets. Participation is free, donation would be greatly appreciated! Hope to see you there!
