MCN Chinese New Year Celebration
Come join us celebrate the Year of the Horse! This will be our second time celebrating The Year of the Horse in Bangor Mall! Time truly flies! As always, we will have a parade, hand out red envelopes to children, and hold a performance. Then we move to the Dyke Family Center in Husson University, with more performance and delicious Chinese dinner. All are welcome!
Once again, our Chinese New Year Parade is set in Bangor Mall. This year, it will be on the First Day of the Year of the Dragon, February 10th, 2024. We will start line up by 1PM, the parade takes about half an hour. We will have activities for Children, and a photo booth where you can try on some Chinese traditional clothing and take pictures. Free to join! This year, we also teamed up with Bangor Chinese School. After the parade, the public is welcome to move to the Dyke Center at Husson University for some Chinese performances and dinner. The dinner will be $10/person or $25/family.
Come join us to welcome the Year of the Tiger! We will held our Chinese New Year Parade in Bangor Mall on Jan. 30th, 2022. Line up will be at Sear’s Court inside the Mall. Registration at 12:30PM, parade starts around 1PM. Participants and spectators please follow Covid-19 guidelines.
