President: Xiaorong H. | 吴晓蓉

Xiaorong H. is one of the founding members of Maine China Network; she is now the President. She wishes to help the organization build bridges between Maine and China for business opportunities.

Xiaorong has been a full-time real estate agent in Maine since 2005. Her dedication to her clients and her engineering background have helped many first-time home buyers, as well as seasoned real estate investors.

Xiaorong grew up in Taiyuan Shanxi; she studied and worked at Zhejiang University with a master degree in mechanical engineering. She now lives in a lovely small town in central Maine with her husband and daughter.

吴晓蓉是缅因中国网的发起人之一,目前任该组织的主席。她希望能为网内外成员在缅因和中国之间商业贸易方面的交往牵线搭桥。

自2005年起晓蓉就全职做房地产中介。 她的客户中有平生第一次的购房者,也有多年的房地产投资商,他们都从她的科研工程师背景和她对客户的精诚服务中收益匪浅。

晓蓉生长在山西太原,在浙江大学学习工作多年,她拥有工科硕士学位。她目前跟丈夫和女儿一起住在缅因中部一个美丽的小镇上。

Vice President: Roger G.

Roger G. is a proven leader at the corporate and business unit/enterprise level. He has a vast amount of experience both as an executive and as a principal and executive consultant for Fortune/Global 1000 clients and Government agencies (domestic and foreign), helping them overcome challenges with operational efficiencies, mergers, and other intractable process problems. In this role, he has advised many company CEO’s, CFO’s and their respective Board members.

Roger’s clients span a broad reach of industries around the world: Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, Healthcare delivery, Global food production, Retail & Global Distribution, Quality Assurance, FDA Certifications, USDA Quality Standards, Energy, Nuclear Medicine, Nuclear Power, Metals, Electronics, and Aviation / Aerospace.

He is educated in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and Business Management. Roger is an avid member of the Maine China Network. His wife is from the Chinese city of Wuhan; he is a student of Mandarin and Japanese, and is fluent in English, German and French, and proficient in Italian.

Past President: Gerry P.

Gerry is a native of Bangor, Maine USA. He is a 1970 graduate of the University of Maine with a degree in special education. For many years he owned and managed his own career counseling business, providing individual job coaching and corporate outplacement services for some of Maine’s largest corporations. Gerry was elected five times to the Bangor City Council, and has served as Mayor of his hometown. Governor Angus King appointed him Treasurer of Penobscot County.

Gerry is the former Chair of the Chinese Language & Culture Center of Maine and currently serves as the President of the Maine China Network. As Mayor of Bangor he forged a formal sister city relationship with Harbin, China and traveled to Harbin, where he met with the political leaders of the Nangang District. Gerry was an instrumental leader in the creation of the Maine China Network in 2011.

Gerry, a widower with four adopted adult children, three granddaughters, and one great-grandson, resides in East Bangor with his two dogs and two cats.

庞杰瑞是缅因州班戈市土生土长的本地人。他于1970年毕业于缅因大学,获得特殊教育的本科学位。多年来,杰瑞拥有并管理着自己的择业顾问公司, 为个人提供职业辅导,以及为缅因州的一些大公司提供择员服务。

杰瑞五次被推选为班戈市政理事会成员,并曾担任班戈市市长。缅因前州长 (现联邦参议员)安格斯˙金曾授予杰瑞“Penobscot镇郡之宝”的称号。杰瑞在任职班戈市长期间,积极推动班戈与中国哈尔滨市南岗区建立了友好城市。他还专程到哈尔滨与当地政府官员见面,交接友好城市纪念碑。

杰瑞曾是缅因中国语言和文化中心的主席,前任缅因中国网的主席。2011年缅因中国网成立时他是不可或缺的发起人之一。

庞先生现居住在班戈市,与两条狗和两只猫为伴。他领养的四个孩子均已成人;还有3个孙辈,和一个曾孙。

Past President: Christine C. | 周瑞雪主席

Christine C. has been successfully managing several Chinese restaurant businesses in Bangor, Maine since 1986. One of her specialties has been vegetarian cuisine. She was from Taiwan and immigrated to America in 1980. Now in her semi-retirement, she teaches Chinese cooking classes and loves the Irish Riverdance. Her goal is to bring more diversified cultural events to the Bangor area, especially Chinese culture.
